Hilton Hotels

Some properties within the Hilton Hotels group don’t have mini-bars so the management team approached us as they wanted to allow guests to buy a range of alcoholic drinks without going down to the bar or using room service.

They’d had a machine before that was activated by guests’ rooms keys however it caused major headaches as guests claimed never to have bought items that had been charged to their bill, stock went missing plus the machine had to be stocked up and maintained by the hotel.

We had to ensure that anybody using the machine was over 18 so we worked with our suppliers to develop a machine that only accepts credit cards using Chip & PIN verification.  Now the guests can buy everything from a small bottle of Moet and Chandon champagne to a can of Guinness to a Smirnoff Vodka with a can of Red Bull – perfect!
